Singapore Permanent Residency (SPR) is a permanent visa that permits foreigners to stay in Singapore legally without any visa restrictions. As a Singapore Permanent Resident, you will have the privilege to freely move in and out of Singapore and do not have to re-apply a work visa every time you change an employer. You can also invest freely, secure admission into subsidized government educational institution and gain financial benefits in the form of employer’s contributions to your pension funds (CPF). In addition, you can also apply Singapore Permanent Resident for your spouse, children and parents.

There are different kind of permanent residency scheme for foreigners to migration to Singapore:

1. Skill-Migration scheme: This scheme is for foreign professional who are now working in Singapore with eligible work passes (Employment Passes, Personalised Employment Passes, EntrePasses, S-Passes).

2. Global Investor Scheme: This scheme is for foreign investors with good business background and willing to invest S$ 2.5 million in Singapore.

3. FIS Scheme: This scheme is for foreign investors with Net Asset of S$20 million and willing to invest at least S$ 10 million in Singapore

Who are eligible for Singapore Permanent Resident:

1. Foreign professionals who are holding on to an Employment Pass, Personalised Employment Pass, EntrePass, S-Pass

2. Spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years old) of Singapore Permanent Resident holders / Singapore Citizens

3. Aged Parents of a Singapore Citizens

4. Foreign investors/entreprenuers that is willing to invest 2.5 million in Singapore and with solid business background

5. Foreign investors willing to invest 10 millions in Singapore with 20 millions Net Asset

Below is a list of documents required for Skilled Migration Permanent Resident: –

• Completed Form 4A (1 copy with original signature)
• 2 passport photo according to the following formats: -
• Current Employer’s information (Annex A) to be duly completed
• 1 CLEAR copies of applicant’s passport particulars / bio-data page with at least 7 months of validity.

For applicant with dependant(s), provide:

• 1 CLEAR copy of each dependant’s passport particular page
• Identity card of main applicant (if applicable)
• 1 CLEAR copy of applicant’s Work Pass
• 1 CLEAR copies of Educational certificates, transcripts, Professional membership certificates and vocational trade certificates of main applicant. For graduates, 2 photocopies of degree / diploma are required
• 1 CLEAR copies official marriage certificate (if applicable)
• 1 CLEAR copies birth certificate of main applicant;
• 1 CLEAR copies of past employment testimonials / reference letters and Resume (if any)
• 1 CLEAR copy of applicant’s Offer letter / Employment letter / contract from current employer.
• 1 CLEAR copy of applicant’s payslips for the past 6 months and Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the last 3 years;
• Official birth certificates of children showing both parents’ names and child’s name and the adoption paper (if applicable);
• Death certificate or divorce certificate and the custody papers for the children in respect of the applicant’s spouse/spouse marriages (if any);
• For self-employed, Valid Business Registration Certificate with names of partners shown (if applicable)

One Visa facilitates your Singapore Permanent Residency application by advising you on the forms and documents required. We ensure that all your supporting documents are acceptable by the ICA.
