1st Jan 2018: Minimum Salary of Employment Pass holders to raise to 6000 SGD per month to be eligible for Dependants Pass of direct family members

From 1 September 2013, in line with MOM’s overall direction in raising the quality profile of our foreign workforce, changes will be made to the EntrePass framework. This is to ensure that we attract foreign entrepreneurs who can inject innovation and vibrancy into Singapore’s business scene, and contribute to local employment.
From 1 January 2017, the qualifying salary for Employment Pass (EP) applications will be raised from $3,300 to $3,600. This change is part of the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) regular updating of the EP qualifying salary to keep pace with rising local wages, maintain the quality of our foreign workforce and enhance their complementarity to the local workforce.
