- How long is the employment pass application process?

Answer: Usually, we submit employment pass online and we can obtain employment pass within 7 working days upon submission. However, in the event when MOM request for further documents after our first submission, it may take additional 3-5 weeks to process.

- How long would you be granted for employment pass?

Answer: Usually at between 12 – 24  months depending on the case officer.

- Does One Visa assist in employment pass appeal cases?

Answer: Yes, we are very experience in employment pass appeal cases and in fact our success rate is as high as 99%. However, it takes us long time to review every appeal case as we have to build a strong case in order to assist our client to secure the employment pass.

- How long does an employment pass appeal generally takes?

Answer: An employment pass appeal normally take at least 3 weeks to process upon submission. However, 20% of the time, it takes 4 – 5 weeks to process.

- How long is the Personalised Employment Pass issued?

Answer: 60 months or 5 years?

- Is the Personalised Employment Pass renewable?

Answer: No.

- What is the minimum monthly salary requirement to be eligible for Personalised Employment Pass?

Answer: S$8,000 per month

- Is there other requirements?

Answer: Yes, minimum a high school graduate and with at least 5 years professional experience in relevant field.

- Is there any quota for Personalised Employment Pass?

Answer: No.

- Can a Personalised Employment Pass holder start-up his/her own business in Singapore?

Answer: No. For setting up a new business, you have to apply for Entrepass / Employment Pass.

- What is the different between Employment Pass and Personalised Employment Pass?

Answer: Employment pass holder requires a local company sponsor and if the employment pass holder and wants to move on to the next job, the employment pass holder have to re-apply employment pass again under the new company. On the other hand, Personalised Employment Pass holders can switch to different job without the need to   to re-apply for a new work pass as Personalised Employment Pass holders do not require local company sponsor.
